India all-rounder Hardik Pandya and his better half Natasa Stankovic were on Thursday blessed with a baby boy. Pandya took to social media and revealed the good news himself.
“We are blessed with our baby boy ❤️????????,” he wrote. The couple had been posting a lot of pictures from their special day as well as Natasa’s pregnancy on social media.
Pandya had been out of the team due to injury but later made a return after undergoing a surgery for the South Africa ODIs that were eventually canceled due to the COVID-19 outburst.
India had earlier toured New Zealand where they won the T20I series but lost the Tests and ODIs. Pandya missed the New Zealand tour as well. Pandya had been ruled out of the upcoming two-match Test series against New Zealand away from home.
The right-handed all-rounder failed to prove his fitness and will now continue his rehabilitation program at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru.
He was slated to play with India A against New Zealand A but he was rested from the squad for the same reason and Vijay Shankar led the side in his absence.
