India all-rounder Hardik Pandya who has been out of action for quite some time due to injury is seeking a return to the side with New Zealand tour. The Indian team is scheduled to tour New Zealand in February next year.
“We decided to do the surgery now because we saw the future and thought this is the right time,” Hardik was quoted as saying by IANS.
India will travel to New Zealand in late January to play five T20Is, three ODIs and two Tests.
