Former India opener Gautam Gambhir’s father’s SUV has been stolen from his residence in Delhi. The incident took place in old Rajinder Nagar on Thursday night.

DCP Central, Sanjay Bhatia said, “We received the information that a Fortuner car was stolen from his residence. The station house officer along with the staff went to his residence in old Rajinder Nagar.”

The white Fortuner car — DL ICKA 0034, was parked outside his residence since the afternoon.

The Police though have got the CCTV footage of some unknown suspects who came in an Innova. They broke the car’s lock and drove away the SUV.

Gambhir is presently the MP for BJP.

He hung his boots from the game back in 2018 and has been focusing on his political career since then. Gambhir was a part of the Indian setup for many years and played a crucial role in their winning triumphs during the World T20 in 2007 and the ICC World Cup in 2011.
