Former India opener Gautam Gambhir played a vital part in India’s World Cup-winning triumph in 2011. The left-hander who scored 97 in Mumbai in the final against Sri Lanka revealed that it was MS Dhoni who reminded him of getting close to a World Cup final hundred that he eventually missed.
“I remember that when an over was completed, I and Dhoni were at the crease,” Gambhir said in an interview with Lallantop.
