Former South Africa captain Graeme Smith is married for the second time. Smith married his girlfriend Romy Lanfranchi on November 2. Smith holds the record for being the youngest captain in South Africa. He took the captaincy in 2003 at the age of just 22.

Graeme Smith, 38, posted pictures of his wedding on social media on Monday. He wrote, ‘November 2 was a great day.’ His post on Twitter has received around nine thousand likes. There has been a wave of congratulations on his post. Smith retired from international cricket in 2014. Now he does commentary.

Earlier, in August 2011, Smith married Irish singer Morgan Deane in Cape Town. They both have two children. In February 2015, both of them announced that they were getting divorced. In December 2016, Smith’s current wife Romi gave birth to their third son.

Smith played 117 Test matches for South Africa in which he scored 9,265 runs at an average of 48.25. Smith is the most successful African captain. He is the only cricketer in the world to have captained more than 100 Test matches.
