Former India batsman Chetan Chauhan has tested positive for COVID-19. Chauhan played 40 Tests in his career and made one of the most successful pairs with legendary Sunil Gavaskar.

A number of cricketers have tested positive for the disease.

Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi also tested positive for coronavirus. The former cricketer gave the news himself after tweeting about it. Though, his condition has now got better.

Taufeeq Umar was earlier tested positive for the disease. He said his symptoms were not that severe and requested his friends and well-wishers to pray for his speedy recovery. He was the second Pakistan cricketer to be tested positive for COVID-19.

Former Bangladesh skipper Mashrafe Mortaza was also tested positive.
