Australia opener David Warner has put his weight behind India captain Virat Kohli and said that no one should really ‘poke the bear’. “I thrive on the crowd, I thrive on people sort of going at me in the field. And getting into that battle,” Warner told India Today television
Kohli has been one of the finest batsmen all around the globe when it comes down to chasing a target and has been pretty successful in the longer format too.
He became the only Indian batsman to notch seven diuble hundreds while holds the record for the fastest ODI hundred for an India.
Kohli’s side earlier won the tour Down Under. The side has been doing pretty well under his captaincy excwpt for the recent tour of New Zealand where they lost the ODIs and Tests.
Virat has also been successful in the IPL scoring heaps of runs for his RCB side. He scored four tons in the 2016 edition and a total of 973 runs in the season. Though, they lost to Warner’s SRH in the final of the edition.
