The Indian cricket team can play a tournament of four countries in the coming days. The Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) chairman Sourav Ganguly is trying to do this. Ganguly has left for England and it is believed that he can discuss the series of four nations there. The Indian team is currently on a tour of New Zealand.

Sourav Ganguly is scheduled to attend an informal meeting with the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), where he will speak to ECB officials. Cricket Australia (CA) officials can also attend this meeting.

Sources said that the four-nation series will also be discussed how the series will start and how it will be included in the ICC’s future tour program. Ganguly has gone to England to discuss the same thing.

Ganguly has already announced that the BCCI is considering organizing a series of four nations every year, which includes Australia, England and any other top country besides India.

BCCI officials have also talked to ECB and CA officials about this. Cricket Australia’s Chief Executive Kevin Roberts had shown a positive view of it and said, ‘I think it is a new idea after Sourav Ganguly became the BCCI President.’
