West Indies and Jamaica Tallawahs all-rounder Andre Russell was hit on his head on Friday while batting during a Caribbean Premier League (CPL) match against Zouksin Sabina Park.
Russell failed to connect a pull shot off Hardus Viljoenin the 14th over. The right-hander was subsequently carried on the stretcher.

Later, Russell has been cleared of any serious injury. “Under the doctor’s advice he has headed back to the team hotel,” the league said on Twitter.
