The quarantine centre at the Eden Gardens ground in Kolkata will be soon functional soon. A video on the official account of Cricket Association of Bengal was also shared.

CAB President Avishek Dalmiya while speaking to The Indian Express said, “The Police Authorities have set up quarantine facilities under galleries of E and F Blocks at present. The facility is expected to be operational soon. We have also allowed them to use our Mini Hospital Area in F Block which would be used by Doctors who would be monitoring those in quarantine.”

The present BCCI president Sourav Ganguly who was the CAB president earlier had offered the ground’s indoors facilities to create a temporary medical facility during the COVID-19 outburst.

“If the government asks us, we will certainly hand over the facility,” Ganguly was quoted as saying by PTI.
