India captain Virat Kohli has got into trouble after a complaint has been filed against him about breaching the ‘Conflict of Interest’ clause under BCCI rule 38 (4) with Board’s Ethics Officer D K Jain according to a report in The Republic TV.

“Kohli holds two posts: one as player and captain of the Indian team and other as a Director of Sports marketing company which contracts fellow Indian cricketers,” it says.

Kohli has been out of action for quite sometime after the COVID-19 outburst. India last played against New Zealand where they won the T20Is but lost in the ODIs and Tests.
