Rashid Khan was born on 20/9/1998, he is a right arm leg break bowler who made his debut for Afghanistan at 18,against Zimbabwe in ODIs & T/20 Matches in the year 2015. He flaunted an elusive IPL contract with Sun Risers Hyderabad at that young age.

Having idolized Shahid Afridis style of bowling since childhood Rashid bowls in the same style,- Linear ,from sump to stump and at a quick pace ,never allowing the batsman to come out of the crease and get to the pitch of the ball .He also has the ability to bowl mysterious googlies which the batsmen find hard to read. He is an agile fielder capable of putting in dives and long accurate throws from the boundaries.

He can use the long handle and excels in clearing the ropes in slog overs, Apart from his world class bowling his growing all round skills and a keen cricketing brain mark him as a great player in the future. He also holds the distinction of being the youngest player to lead his country in Test Matches.

When Rashid was asked to name a batsman whom he found the toughest to bowl to n in the IPL. He had more than one name he rated Kohli, de Villiers ,Chris Gayle and Andre Russel as the toughest batsmen in IPL. He said bowling to these players on small grounds used for IPL matches makes it tougher moreover you do not get much support from the pitches as well.

These batsmen he said were capable of punishing you got the smallest error in length or line so the bowler needs to really
bowl to the best of his ability with minimum errors.
