Australia retain Ashes after beating England by 185 runs in the fourth Test of the series in Manchester. Chasing a mammoth 382, England were bundled out for 197. Joe Denly top-scored with 53 while Pat Cummins scalped a four-for. Josh Hazlewood and Nathan Lyon picked a couple of wickets each while Mitchell Starc and Marnus Labuschagne bagged one apiece.
Steve Smith has been magnificent, super-human almost, but don’t forget the bowlers that take the wickets. Pat Cummins has been excellent throughout and Josh Hazlewood is always good.

Batting first, Australia compiled a total of 497/8 (D) in the first innings after Steve Smith struck a double ton in his comeback match of the series. Later, the Australian pace attack thoroughly dominated the English batting line up and bowled them out for 301 to take the first innings list.
The visitors then capitalised on the lead and put a total of 186/6 (D) in just under 43 overs.
Australia had won the first game while the second ended in a draw. England leveled the series in the third match after riding on a spectacular batting display from Ben Stokes. The fifth and final match is scheduled to take place in London from September 12.
