Australia Prime Minister Scott Morrison criticised England fans for showing negative gesture towards Steve Smith after the former skipper suffered a concussion during the first innings of the second Ashes Test match at Lord’s.
Smith was hit on the neck by a short delivery from Jofra Archer while he was batting on 80 and had to leave the field immediately.
“A draw for the second test but it was a total Ashes foul for the crowd at Lords to boo Steve Smith,” Morrison wrote in a Facebook post.
The second Test match ended in a draw. The visitors are still in 1-0 lead in the five-match series.
