Indian team captain Virat Kohli’s wife and Bollywood veteran Anushka Sharma is going to return to the film screen after three years. The 33-year-old actress will be seen playing the character of former Indian woman fast bowler Jhulan Goswami in Netflix’s original film Chakda Express. The first look of Anushka’s film has been released.

The first look video of the film starts with commentary, in which it is told that there is to be a match between India and Australia. In such a situation, Indian women players have no name, no identity and neither do they have any fans. In this video the stadium is seen lying empty.

Sharing the first look of ‘Chakda Express’, Anushka wrote, “This is a really special film as it is a story of sacrifice. Chakda Express is inspired by his life and times. This film will be an eye-opener about former Indian captain Jhulan Goswami and the world of women’s cricket.”

He further wrote, “Jhulan decided to become a cricketer and make her country proud on the global stage at a time when it was too difficult for women to even think of playing the sport.”

Significantly, Anushka Sharma’s last film was released in the year 2018, December, where she appeared in the film Zero opposite Shahrukh Khan.
