Spinner Harbhajan Singh has confirmed that his contract with IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is over . Harbhajan confirmed the news in a tweet.
“As my contract comes to an end with @ChennaiIPL, playing for this team was a great experience..beautiful memories made &some great friends which I will remember fondly for years to come..Thank you @ChennaiIPL, management, staff and fans for a wonderful 2years.. All the best,” Harbhajan wrote in a tweet.


The off-spinner had joined CSK in 2018 for an amount of Rs. 2 Crore. He played an important role in the 2019 edition after bagging 16 wickets from 11 matches while didn’t play the 2020 edition due to personal reasons.
CSK has been the second most successful team in the IPL winning the tournament thrice but had a dismal run in the last edition as they were knocked out in the group stage itself. This was the first time CSK hadn’t made it to the play-offs.
