The IPL 2020 was concluded successfully on Tuesday after MI clinched their fifth title beating Delhi Capitals in the final. Amid the COVID-19 outburst, the sporting events had either been canceled or postponed and IPL was one of them.
But the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has eventually been able to conduct the tournament. The IPL 2020 saw a rise of 28% viewrship.
IPL chairman Brijesh Patel said, “IPL has always endeavoured to provide a world-class sports event for its fans.”
