Just the second match of the IPL 2020 and we witnessed some incredible stuff in the encounter between KXIP and Delhi capitals. The DC franchise team stole away the win the Super Over.

Chasing a target of 158, KXIP lost early wickets and were reduced to 55/5 when Krishnappa Gowtham and Mayank Agarwal came together and stitched a stand for their side. The put on a partnership of 46 for the sixth wicket before Gowtham was out for 20.

Agarwal continued his form and the game came down to the wire where KXIP needed 1 off 2. Mayank went for a glory shot and was caught in the deep for 89 by Hetmyer off Stoinis. KXIP now needed one off the last delivery but Marcus Stoinis who was bowling the over scalped another wicket to send Chris Jordan packing and took the game into Super Over.

KXIP sent in KL Rahul and Pooran to begin the innings. Rahul got a couple on the first ball but Kagiso Rabada then dismissed the skipper and Pooran on the trot. DC needed 3 runs to win that they chased down pretty easily.

Earlier, a late surge from Marcus Stoinis took Delhi to 157/8. Stoinis hit 53 off 21 before the innings ended. Mohammed Shami picked up a three-for for KXIP.
