Former India cricketer Sunil Gavaskar has clarified his statement that he made regarding Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli.

“The point I am trying to make is that there was no practice for anybody, including Virat in the lockdown. I am not being sexist. If somebody, has interpreted it, what can I do,” he said.

Kohli’s RCB had a bad day at the office on Thursday against KXIP after they lost the match by 97 runs. The franchise was slapped with criticism form all around.

Gavaskar too made some remarks about Virat Kohli and his captaincy that also included Anushka Sharma’s name. The remarks didn’t really go well with Anushka and she posted a stern message for the former cricketer on her Instagram story.
