The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have suffered another setback after off-spinner Harbhajan Singh pulled out of the IPL 2020 citing “personal reasons”.
Bhajji made the announcement in a tweet.

I will not be playing IPL this year due to personal reasons.These are difficult times and I would expect some privacy as I spend time with my family. @ChennaiIPL CSK management has been extremely supportive and I wish them a great IPL

“I have informed the CSK management about my decision to pull out of this year’s IPL. I have decided to take a break due to personal reasons in these difficult times. I expect that everyone would respect my need for privacy,” Harbhajan told PTI on Friday.
Earlier, Suresh Raina had also pulled out of the tournament while 13 people from the contingent tested positive for COVID-19 including India fast bowler Deepak Chahar.
Raina announced his retirement from international cricket along with MS Dhoni on August 15. The two cricketers made the announcement on social media.
