India’s disappointing run continued in New Zealand as they lost the two-match Test series 2-0 on Monday in Christchurch. Chasing a mere target of 132, new Zealand went over the line by 7 wickets on the third day of the match.

Earlier, India were bowled out for 242 after Hanuma Vihari and Prithvi Shaw scored individual half-centuries in the first innings while the blackcaps were bundled out for 235 to trail the visitors by 7 runs.

The hosts then bounced back as the pacers rattled Indian batting line up. India were all out for 124 in the second innings with Cheteshwar Pujara top-scoring with 24.

New Zealand then got a flying start as the openers Tom Latham and Tom Blundell put 103 for the first wicket as they eventually won the match.
