The second T20 match between India and Sri Lanka to be played on Tuesday was postponed. Actually, Team India’s all-rounder Krunal Pandya has been found to be Corona positive, after which it was decided to postpone the match. After Krunal’s Kovid-19 positive, all the players of the team have been sent to isolation. It is being said that if the test of all the players comes negative, then the second T20 match will be played on Wednesday.

After Krunal’s corona positive came, the Board of Control for India has issued a statement on its official Twitter account, confirming this news. The BCCI wrote in a tweet, “Yes, Krunal Pandya has been found COVID positive and the 2nd T20 match is currently postponed for 28 July. The second T20 match between India and Sri Lanka will be played on Wednesday only after the reports of all the players who came in contact with him come negative.

After Krunal’s corona positive, now the problem has arisen whether Prithvi Shaw and Suryakumar Yadav will leave for England soon or not. In fact, on Monday, the BCCI included both the players as backup players in the squad for the upcoming five-match Test series against England.

India defeated Sri Lanka by 38 runs in the first match of the three-match T20I series and took a 1-0 lead in the series. While bowling two overs in this match, Krunal took 1 wicket for 16 runs, while in batting he remained unbeaten on 3 *.
