Shardul Thakur has been left out of the India squad for the third and fourth Test against England, named on Wednesday (February 17). Umesh Yadav will join the team in Ahmedabad after a fitness test and replace Thakur in the squad.

Ankit Rajpoot, Avesh Khan, Sandeep Warrier, Krishnappa Gowtham and Saurabh Kumar have been named as net bowlers while KS Bharat and Rahul Chahar have been named as standbys.

Abhimanyu Easwaran, Shahbaz Nadeem and Priyank Panchal have also been released.
