Team India’s head coach Ravi Shastri, bowling coach Bharat Arun and fielding coach R Sridhar have been found to be Covid-19 positive in the RT PCR test. Now all three have been sent to isolation for 10 days. Let us inform that now 4 members of the support staff will be in London, while all the players of the Indian team will go to Manchester for the fifth Test match. The last Test of five matches between the two teams will be played from September 10.

Quoting sources, the news agency said, “RT-PCR report of Ravi Shastri, Bharat Arun and R Sridhar has come positive. It is a matter of great sadness that the RT-PCR report of all three has come positive. Everyone will have to live in isolation. He will be able to join the team only after two negative reports.

On Saturday, the rapid antigen test of 59-year-old Shastri came positive, after which Arun, Sridhar and physio Nitin Patel were sent to isolation. However, all the players of the Indian team and other remaining support staff also had a lateral flow test, in which they all came negative.

It is noteworthy that the fourth match of the five-match Test series is being played between India and England. This test match is being played at the Oval ground in London. Presently the series is tied at 1-1. Team India has given a huge target of 368 runs to the hosts to win. Till the time of writing the news, the British have scored 131 runs for the loss of 2 wickets till lunch on the fifth day of the game.
