Pakistan are all set to take on England in the first Test of the three-match series in Manchester from Wednesday. England have so far hosted West Indies and Ireland at home and Pakistan would be the third team to tour the nation after the COVID-19 outburst.

Fast bowler Naseem Shah in an interview with Inews.co.uk has said that he is not really afraid of big guns like Joe Root and Ben Stokes but would like healthy competition.

“Joe Root and Ben Stokes are two cricketers I rate highly, and it will be great to test myself against them. I respect good players, but I do not fear them,” he said.

Naseem took quick strides in international cricket by claiming a hat trick and a spell of 5 wickets in an innings in matches against Sri Lanka in Karachi Test and a hat trick versus Bangladesh at home.

During a question and answer session with press and Fans, he was asked to name three batsmen in the world whom he would like to include as his scalps in a hat trick. Naseem picked English Captain Joe Root, Indias Rohit Sharma, and Australian Run Machine Steve Smith.
