Pakistan leveled the three-match series against England after beating the hosts by 5 wickets in the third and final T20I in Manchester.

Chasing a total of 191, England were restricted to 185/8 in the allotted 20 overs. Earlier, England after winning the toss put Pakistan into bat.

The visiting team made three changes in the side and brought in former skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed in place of Mohammad Rizwan while Wahab Riaz came in for Mohammad Amir.

But one addition proved to be the most fruitful one for Babar Azam’s side. Haider Ali who was given his T20I debut cap smashed a 33-ball 54 and stitched a stand of 100 runs with Mohammad Hafeez for the third wicket.

Hafeez top-scored with 86* while Shadab Khan too chipped in with 15 off 11 deliveries.

In reply, ENgland lost Jonny Bairstow for 1 while Dawid Malan and captain Eoin Morgan too followed cheapely. Opener TOm banton though showed some resistance and scored 46 off 31 while all-rounder Moeen Ali struck a 33-ball 61 but their efforts were not enough to take the side over the line.

Shaheen Afridi and Wahab scalped a couple of wickets each while Imad Wasim and Haris Rauf picked one apiece.

The first match of the series had been called-off due to rain while England won the second encounter earlier. The home side had also clinched 1-0 win in the three-match Test series.
