The third day of the first Test between Pakistan and England saw some good performances from the bowlers from both ends. As many 14 wickets got down in one single day in Manchester.

Beginning the proceedings on Day 3, England lost Ollie Pope early on 62. The home side kept losing wickets at regular intervals and were bowled out for 219 giving Pakistan a lead of 107 runs.

Yasir Shah showed his class with the ball and scalped a four-wicket haul.

England bowlers then came back stronger and Stuart Broad removed Shan Masood for a duck. Pakistan batsmen too didnt resist well against the English bowling attack.

However, the batsmen did get startes but failed to convert them into big scores. The scorecrad read 137/8 when the stumps were called on Day 3.

Stuart Broad, Chris Woakes and Ben Stokes scalped a couple of wickets apiece. Pakistan now lead by 244 runs.
