India might have continued their winning streak against Pakistan in World Cup fixture but this match has brought an injury scare as Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been ruled out for at least two games after pulling his hamstring.
“Bhuvi’s case looks like a niggle, a case of slipping on the footmarks. It doesn’t look too serious at the moment and looks like he could recover in a couple of games from now, maximum of three games,” captain Virat Kohli said after the match.
India defeated Pakistan by 89 runs (D/L method) on Sunday in Manchester. Bhuvneshwar didn’t take part in the rest of the game after bowling just 2.4 over where he conceded only 8 runs.
