The rain has played a spoil-sport on a number of occasions in this World Cup 2019. Out of the three games, India’s encounter with New Zealand was also washed away due to rain. The two sides had to settle down with one point each.

The fans and spectators are anxious whether India’s next clash which is a big one against Pakistan in Manchester on Sunday will happen as scheduled or will rain again play spoilsport.

If the sources are to be taken into consideration, a light shower is predicted between 12 PM local time and 1 PM local time in Manchester on Sunday.

So what happens if the match is washed away. Firstly, India’s winning streak against Pakistan in World Cup fixtures will be broken as they have won all the previous six encounters. Second, a major consequence of this was put will be on the points table.

Presently India are placed at number four with 5 points from three matches. Australia who are presently at number three with six points will lock horns on Saturday with Sri Lanka. The Lanka Lions are just behind India at number 5 with four points.

Now if Australia beat Sri Lanka, they will move on top with 8 points under their belt but if Sri Lanka beat Australia, they will dismantle India from the fourth spot but for a while.
