Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan scared a concussion after being hit by a delivery from Jimmy Neesham. The incident happened in the 34th over when the right-hander misjudged a delivery from Neesham and it struck him on the helmet.
Rashid was attended by the Afghanistan physio and didn’t take part in the second half of the match.
It was not clear whether this was just a precuationary measure or the leggie underwent a concussion test. Though captain Gulbadin Naib told that Rashid was feeling better but he would be kept under observation till Sunday morning.
Afghanistan next play South Africa on Saturday and the leg-spinner has some time to recover.
