Veteran cricketer and Group Captain in the Air Force, Sachin Tendulkar became part of Air Force Day on Tuesday. Sachin along with his wife Anjali reached the Hindon Air Force Station in Ghaziabad to participate in the celebration of the 87th Air Force Day.

In 2010, in the presence of Air Chief Marshal Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria, Tendulkar who was awarded the Group Captain saw the might of the Air Force from close quarters and became part of it. Sachin retired from international cricket in 2013. Recognized for his amazing cricket career, Sachin is the first player to be awarded the rank of Group Captain in the Airforce.
