Team India will play the third and final match of ODI series against Australia on Sunday. So far, Team India has played seven ODIs in Bengaluru. Team India has a big edge here.

In Rajkot, Team India has won four out of the seven ODIs played so far, in two they have suffered defeat, while one match has not yielded results. Both teams played the first match in Bengaluru in 1989 in which Team India defeated the visiting team by three wickets with 17 balls to spare. The last match was played by both teams in September 2017, where Australia won by 21 runs.

In Bangaluru, Team India won two matches by batting first and two matches bowling first. At the same time, Australia has got both wins after batting first. In Bengaluru, Team India has won the toss only once. They won this match by 60 runs. Here in four matches, the team batting first has won two matches, and then the team chasing twice has won the match.

In the last match, David Warner and Aaron Finch shared a record 231 runs which they both broke in the current series Mumbai ODI. Both broke their own record by sharing 258 runs in the first match of this series. In this match, Warner scored 124 runs and Finch scored 96 runs.

Team India’s highest score in Bengaluru is 383 runs, which they scored in November 2013, in this match, Rohit Sharma scored 209 runs and due to this, Team India won that match by 57 runs. At the same time, in the 1996 Titan Cup, Team India stopped Australia for 215 runs and also won by two wickets.

The story of Bengaluru’s record is not straightforward, but the pitch here is a batting wicket and in such a way the match can be expected to be exciting.
