Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, Shubman Gill, Prithvi Shaw and Navdeep Saini have been placed in isolation as a precautionary measure. The players had earlier allegedly breached the COVID-19 protocol.

Actually the Indian cricketers made headlines after an Indian fan shared a post stating that he had paid the bill for them and also hugged Pant.

The BCCI later investigated the matter and rubbished the news of the breach.

“On the advice of the Australian and Indian medical teams, the aforementioned players have been placed in isolation as a precaution. This will include separating the group of players from the broader Indian and Australian squads when traveling and at the training venue,” stated a release from Cricket Australia.
